Understanding and targeting the interaction of innate and adaptive immune cells with cardiomyocytes and cardiac stromal cells bears the potential to guide the development of future therapies for cardiomyopathy and heart failure patients. The cardioimmunology congress will highlight cutting-edge science from the fields of immunology and cardiology and provide insight into recent developments towards therapeutic targeting of cardiac inflammation.
